  • Rescue Support

With so many homeless animals in Oregon, and nation-wide, Shelters and Fosters struggle to support their growing numbers. If your rescue is in need of specific supplies, volunteers, or even help getting the word out, please post details about the needs of the animals in your care. If you have something to offer to a local rescue, please utilize this forum to connect with fosters and agencies! Remember, every ounce of food, every well loved towel or blanket, and every minute of your time donated to rescue efforts across the state is valued by every animal in need! Thank you for your support!

Post a detailed description of your lost pet. Remember to describe color, breed, size, unique characteristics, collars, harnesses, and information about where and when they were last seen. Posting pictures of your animal can also help others to identify them! Don't forget - posting is only one of many ways to help locate your pet. Remember to visit all local shelters (both near your home, and near where the animal was lost) to submit a missing animal report, and check in with the shelters every few days.

If you have found an animal, please do the right thing! Notify the Humane Society - it's the law, and then post a very brief description of the animal. Reference what kind of animal (dog, cat, etc), sex, and where and when the animal was found. Please be cautious about posting pictures or giving too much information in your post - there are people out there who are not very honest, and you may just end up giving the animal to someone who is wrongfully attempting to claim the animal. Also, remember to check the Lost forums for animals who might match the one you've found.
